Biography:

Rob is a co-founder of the Enable Centre and leads the Biokinetics practice, where he combines a passion for evidence-based research with a commitment to training the next generation of movement professionals. With a special interest in complex neurological and orthopaedic cases, Rob brings an innovative edge to rehabilitation. He completed his PhD at UCT, focusing on the use of robotic technology to support recovery in individuals with spinal cord injuries, and now lectures at UCT. Originally born and bred in Johannesburg, Rob has embraced the coastal life—spending his free time trying to blend in with the locals at the surf break (despite occasionally wearing his wetsuit backwards).
